The Story
The Syluety headscarf with pink trim features a designer print inspired by embroidered ritual towels from the Dnipro region, Kyiv, and Sumy from the 18th to 20th centuries, as well as embroidery of Cossack nobility from the 17th–18th centuries. The oak leaf motif symbolizes strength and wisdom—qualities traditionally associated with the oak tree in Ukrainian ritual culture. The visual style draws inspiration from vytynanka, the traditional Ukrainian art of paper cutting.
